Wow, what an incredible three days at the Singapore Fintech Festival.
After the successful launch with Singapore Stock Exchange, the ESGenome Portal on the G17Eco Platform will be scaled into a National Disclosure Utility for all companies big and small. This means all Singaporean companies will do their disclosure from one integrated digital taxonomy, following the same metrics, same definitions, same units, and using breakthrough 4iR technology, such as data bot, distributed ledger technology, IoT and ML. We will use technology to reduce the time, cost and risk in disclosure, and unlock this crucial trusted, comparable and fresher data set that we all need. With this, we are empowered in our decision-making of where to invest, divest, manage risk and what are the most impactful solutions that are actually working to scale up.
It is also so exciting that all stakeholders - companies, assurers, rating agencies, stock exchange, regulators, financial institutions, charities and government, will be on one interoperable platform.
World Wide Generation is also integrating G17Eco with a significant number of partner apps and services so that we can all work together with one mission and focus on accelerating the financing and delivery of the sustainable development goals.
What a way to start November 2022 with such a breakthrough and right before COP27. I was also pleased to see true sustainability leaders speaking about causation problem solving and going beyond a siloed approach to fixing the climate, carbon and net zero, to solving our Social (people) and Economic (profit) issues and systems first in order to solve the Environmental (planet) and not the other way around. As I always say, “we heal ourselves, we heal the planet!”
