About

The UK Government’s consultation on the new Sustainability Reporting Standards (SRS) closes on 17 September 2025, with final standards expected this autumn. Based on the ISSB’s IFRS S1 and S2, the UK SRS will reshape how companies disclose sustainability and climate-related risks.

At the same time, UK businesses are influenced by wider regulatory and governance expectations — from the Companies Act 2006 and the UK Corporate Governance Code, to the EU’s CSRD. These frameworks increasingly require consideration of double materiality, stakeholder impact, and long-term risk, creating a broader set of pressures beyond financial disclosure alone.

Join Asuene and World Wide Generation for a practical discussion on what UK SRS means for your business — and how best to balance credible, cross-framework disclosures with meaningful decarbonisation strategies.
